The V8-1000 is the entry-level version of the MAN V8 range, based on the 16.2-litre D2868, with 735 kW (1000 HP) at 2300 rpm. It is a compact 90° V engine with Common Rail injection, aimed at sport-fishing craft and mid-size yachts seeking power with low weight.
